Back from PA: some photos
Benoit Janny
Last week we were invited by the Fruit Research & Extension Center of Penn State University, in Biglerville, PA. There we have had the opportunity to present the interests of storage in controlled atmosphere bins to a group of fruit growers.
Two of our clients in the state (Twin Springs Fruit Farm, and Quaker Valley Orchard) were part of the attendance, and had brought some apples freshly taken out of CA bins: a much better proof of the efficiency of natural controlled atmosphere than any photograph or testimony! Many thanks to both of them for that.
And of course, many thanks to the team of the FREC, for giving us this chance to talk to growers. That was a great time and we really enjoyed being there.
Definitely something we will love to do again in other places!
