New testimonial from a satisfied fruit grower: Denise Miller, from Lisbon, Ohio, grows a range of berries and apples at Dillon Fruit Farm. She kindly accepted to give us her feedback about the storage in our controlled atmosphere bins.

“We discovered JMT-US through their ads in farming magazines. After researching their storage modules, we decided they would be a good fit for our berry business. We had been experiencing the dilemma of too much product at peak season and too little in the late season, and we hoped to use the modules to remedy the imbalance.

We have now stored blueberries and apples, both with great success. We stored blueberries for three weeks, and upon opening the modules, found them to be just as fresh and firm as when we harvested them, and they still had a shelf life for sales for over a week thereafter.

We stored Gala apples for three months, and they were as crisp afterward as when first picked. They had all retained their 1st grade quality. The JMT support team was extremely helpful with any questions along the way.

We received great economic benefit from the berries that would have gone to waste in the field, but that we were now able to sell after the rest of the berries were out of season. We were able to extend our sales period by two weeks.

The modules are well made and work very well- we are extremely satisfied with them, and would re commend them to other farmers who could benefit from customizable storage units to extend their season.

 Thank you,

Denise Miller”
