New record on red cabbage: 9 months storage

One of our vegetable-growing clients informed us that he had been able to store red cabbages in CA bins for up to 9 months, with an excellent quality at the opening of the lids.
Harvested in October 2018, they have been stored up to early June 2019. And even after this extended storage time, the cabbages still had their freshness and crunchiness, and the need for peeling off did not go beyond the harvest leaf, that had been kept during the storage to protect the rest of the cabbage.
A good mean to extend one’s sales season up to the period with less competition!
